Reading and accessibility
Choose the settings that make this website easier for you to use.
Reading tools
The “Reading & access” button opens text sizes up to 200%, high contrast, extra spacing, a calmer reading layout and reduced motion. Preferences apply to information pages within this browser tab. “Reset” restores the defaults.
Read aloud
Choose “Read aloud” to listen to visible page text in the current language. Pause, continue or stop from the reading controls. Only locally available voices are used. If your browser has no suitable voice, use your device's screen reader or install a German or English voice through its speech settings.
No reading starts automatically. Forms, passwords and entered personal information are not read by this feature. Closed question-and-answer sections are read after you open them.
Keyboard and device settings
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move through controls, Enter or Space to activate buttons, and Escape to close the reading settings. The “Skip to content” link is visible when focused. Your browser's zoom and device accessibility settings remain available.
Language
German is the default. Choose Deutsch or English above the navigation to open the corresponding information page. English pages are published directly on this website. The request form and member area currently use German interfaces; the world map has its own multilingual selection.
Practical limits and feedback
These features improve access but do not constitute a certification of complete accessibility. A full independent accessibility audit has not been completed. If a page or document is difficult to use, please describe the page and the difficulty through the contact options, without including medical information.
Access to the practice
There is a lift. One step must be negotiated at the entrance; the practice rooms beyond it are wheelchair accessible.
