Fees and payment

Basic health insurance and medical prescriptions

All services in this private-pay practice are billed privately. They cannot be billed to basic health insurance or through the prescription model, even with a medical prescription.

Individual sessions

Psychological therapy, counselling, coaching, supervision and self-experience: CHF 220 per 45-minute session, including preparation and follow-up.

Invoices are addressed directly to clients and are payable within 20 days of the invoice date. Payment details and the due date appear on the invoice. Special rates apply to PSP Basel students.

Private invoices and supplementary insurance

The invoice is addressed to you or the commissioning organisation. There is no direct billing to supplementary insurers. Any reimbursement depends on your insurance policy and the insurer's assessment; it is not guaranteed. Please check possible contributions directly with your insurer before starting. The agreed fees remain payable regardless.

A medical referral is not required for these private-pay services. Treatment provided through employment at another institution is separate; questions about that treatment and its requirements should be directed to the institution concerned.

Courses, workshops and corporate assignments

Separate, individually agreed conditions apply to courses, in-house formats, professional consultation and corporate assignments. Before a binding booking, you receive a written quotation specifying content, scope, location and fees. Dates are arranged individually; there are currently no fixed public course dates.

Payment is due within 20 days of the invoice date unless the quotation expressly states otherwise. Any advance payment is agreed in writing before booking. Course cancellation conditions form part of the quotation; deviations are expressly agreed in writing. Please review these before confirming. An enquiry alone is not a booking.

Fixed fees for AD(H)S and autism assessments

The scope, process and fixed fee are agreed before starting. The standard session rate does not apply to these assessments. The private invoicing and insurance information above also applies.

Working together

The short agreement for individual sessions explains fees, appointment cancellations and our working arrangements. An initial enquiry is non-binding; specific treatment is discussed personally.

Cancelling individual appointments

Please cancel by email at least 48 hours before the appointment; the time your message is received is decisive. Timely cancellations are free of charge.

For late cancellations or missed appointments, a cancellation fee agreed beforehand may apply, up to the fee for the reserved appointment. It does not apply where attendance is objectively impossible through no fault of your own; other important reasons are also considered. The practice limits losses where possible. Replacement bookings and saved expenses are credited. No more than the legally recoverable loss is charged.

This rule is agreed with you before a binding appointment is made. Its application to appointments within diagnostic packages is clarified separately. No cancellation fee arises if the practice cancels.

Courses, workshops and professional development have separate cancellation conditions and the relevant quotation. The 48-hour rule is not automatically applied to these assignments.

Cancelling courses, workshops and professional development

These conditions apply to binding bookings, including in-house services. Individually agreed written conditions in the quotation take precedence. An enquiry alone is not a binding booking.

Please cancel in writing by email. The time the message is received before the agreed course start is decisive:

• At least 30 calendar days beforehand: no cancellation fee.
• 29 to 15 calendar days beforehand: 50% of the agreed course fee.
• 14 calendar days or less, or non-attendance: 100% of the agreed course fee.

Third-party costs agreed in the quotation that demonstrably cannot be cancelled are taken into account. Costs already included in the cancellation fee are not charged again. Saved costs and replacement bookings are credited appropriately.

For cancellation of an individual place, a suitable replacement participant may attend without an additional cancellation fee. This does not cancel the conditions for an entire in-house assignment.

Rescheduling requires mutual written agreement; any resulting costs are clarified before confirmation. If the practice cancels, you can agree an alternative date or receive a refund of the course fee already paid.

Voluntary world map

Participation in “Our little world” is free and independent of treatment, counselling, assessment or course bookings. The fees and cancellation terms above do not apply to the map. A contribution does not establish a treatment or counselling relationship.

Contributions are voluntary; no name or account is required. Year, text and photo may be omitted. Only submit your own photos or photos you may lawfully use, showing landscapes, places or objects. Do not include real people, private addresses, vehicle registration plates, names or health information.

Automated checks can make mistakes. The practice owner may review, hold or hide contributions. You can contact the practice about questions or objections. See the world map privacy information.
