Emergency psychology and professional consultation
Support and orientation in exceptional situations — for individuals, professionals, teams and organisations.
Individual support, brief interventions and follow-up
You can enquire about time-limited psychological support after a distressing event, such as a sudden loss or an incident at work. A brief intervention may help you make sense of the situation, regain orientation and clarify next steps. We discuss together what is appropriate.
Team support and post-incident follow-up can also be part of an assignment. Availability, purpose, scope and fees are agreed in advance; an enquiry is not confirmation of a deployment.
The practice does not provide a 24-hour emergency service. In immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 144.
Professional consultation
For professionals, managers, teams and organisations: a setting to understand challenging situations, reflect on your approach and agree next steps.
- Preparing for critical incidents
- Professional orientation in exceptional situations
- Reflecting on roles, responsibilities and limits
- Follow-up and reflection after distressing incidents
Supervision may also provide a suitable setting.
Sharing knowledge through training
As a course leader, lecturer and federally qualified training manager, I teach psychological knowledge in an accessible, practical way. Content is tailored to participants' experience, work setting and questions.
- Practical psychological first aid: one day, six teaching hours plus breaks; Basel or in-house.
- Crisis skills for leaders: a half-day in-house workshop on roles, communication and support.
- Emergency psychology and crisis intervention: further practical training, individually or in groups.
These are preparatory training services. Dates, group size and fees are agreed before booking.

Discuss your next step
Your initial enquiry only needs to identify the service you are interested in and how I can contact you. Please do not send reports, diagnoses or detailed health information through the enquiry form or ordinary email. We agree a suitable secure channel for confidential documents beforehand.
An enquiry is not an appointment confirmation. I will contact you about availability and the next steps.
